About Crowe Psychology

Dr. Crowe was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY but has experienced different parts of the country, living in Atlanta, GA, Long Beach, CA, and Denver, CO before moving to the Boston area in 2016. He completed his undergraduate degree in psychology at Emory University and his Masters degree in psychology at Pepperdine University before moving to Denver, CO to study clinical psychology. Dr. Crowe received his doctorate degree (Psy.D.) from the University of Denver, including a pre-doctoral internship at the University of Northern Colorado’s Counseling Center. He completed his doctoral paper on the study of masculinity, and how traditional ideas of masculinity have affected the attachments formed by men.

After receiving his Psy.D. Dr. Crowe worked as the Director of Psychology for a company called College Living Experience in Denver, CO. College Living Experience works with college-aged students who are diagnosed with high-functioning autism-spectrum and related disorders. Dr. Crowe also created and operated a small independent practice in Denver before moving to Boston and getting licensed as a clinical psychologist in the state of Massachusetts. Dr. Crowe has worked as a therapist and psychologist at Commonwealth Psychology Associates, a group practice in Boston that has won multiple awards as a top place to work in Boston, as voted on by someone. Dr. Crowe left this practice to form Crowe Psychology in April of 2019.
